5 tips to improve kitchen storage
Most foods are kept in the refrigerator, but for many others that do not need cold, we can find other storage solutions, thus enriching the design of kitchens. Despite not needing specific conditions, storing in the kitchen in the right way and sometimes in drier places, will help us to better preserve and, above all, to organize the kitchen and its cabinets.
Where to place a pantry? In many of our kitchen design and interior design projects we have had the pleasure of designing and carrying out different types of pantries.
At all times we manufacture design furniture, properly insulated, to keep food fresh and versatile in terms of storable food.
However, in many other kitchen design projects there is no dedicated space for kitchen storage. That is why, in today’s article we are going to see other solutions to store food at home, as well as some kitchen decorating ideas to achieve the aforementioned order, without having to sacrifice any space.
1. Create custom drawers
When we are very clear about the product we have to store in the kitchen, a very good option is to create and organize the kitchen drawers to measure, taking into account the volume and size of what is stored. For example, if your home consumes a lot of coffee, it might not be a bad option to think of a custom-made drawer for your capsules. And, as with coffee, with any other product.
2. Use the back of the doors
We are not discovering gold or innovating excessively, but a timely reminder never hurts. And finally, the basic advice… Don’t store so much! We know it is convenient and in many occasions necessary. However, trying to change our consumption and shopping habits would be one of the best options for good storage. It’s just a matter of spending a little more time on what you need and not so much on how you store everything. Buy less and more often, thus also favoring that we will always have fresh food, within its shelf life and generate less waste.

Organizing kitchen storage efficiently is crucial to make the best use of space and to facilitate access to the utensils and food we are going to use.
Clear and organize
Before thinking about new storage items, review and de-clutter your kitchen. Get rid of utensils and appliances you don’t need. This will allow you to identify available space and areas of the kitchen that need more organization.
Take advantage of vertical space
Install shelves or ledges on the walls to store items that are not frequently used. Hooks are also useful for hanging utensils, pots and pans.
