From an empty house to a Mediterranean home with soul
Empordà House is a Mediterranean interior design project for a second residence located in Baix Empordà, just minutes from Pals.
The project began with a newly built house—full of potential but completely empty. Our goal was clear: to infuse it with soul, style and functionality so the owners could enjoy it as a true retreat.
Through custom-made furniture, natural textures, warm lighting and a carefully curated selection of decorative elements, we transformed each room into a welcoming, harmonious and vibrant living space.
Project highlights
This project was born from the intention to create a space that could be fully lived in and enjoyed. Every room was designed to meet the real needs of its owners, adapting the layout, furniture and materials to suit their lifestyle. The result is a functional, warm home with its own unique identity.
Throughout the house, a consistent philosophy can be felt: balance, calm and a strong connection to the surroundings. From the neutral colour palette to the carefully chosen textiles and finishes, everything contributes to a cohesive and serene atmosphere. This sense of harmony extends beyond the interiors and flows naturally into the garden and outdoor areas.
One of the key goals of the project was to create spaces that evoke a sense of wellbeing. Cosy corners, open and social common areas, and bedrooms designed for rest turn this house into a place where you simply want to stay. Every element adds something unique—warmth, texture, or character.
This before and after is a clear example of how interior design can transform not just the aesthetics, but the way a space is lived. We went from an empty house to a home with soul, where every detail is thoughtfully chosen to enhance everyday moments, special occasions, and quality time.
