INTERIOR DESIGN INTERVENTION OF AN ATTIC IN THE DIAGONAL MAR AREA
"The space asks for space", this could be the title that defines this intervention made in this penthouse, in the Diagonal Mar area of Barcelona.
The script written by the client, combined with his desire to enjoy the fullest of the sea views, allowed defining this intervention as an apartment with two spaces: day and night area.
An audacious proposal that is committed to the maximum by creating quality spaces, where the shared enjoyment of the different areas contextualizes the project in its real scope.
Transferring the approach of open and divide spaces to each detail of the proposal, both in flooring and cladding, as in the choice of furniture, was one of the important challenges achieved in this project.
Privileged views of the city, the Mediterranean Sea and natural light, essential ingredients to develop a good proposal
WARMTH AND COMFORT
The selected materials that define the project, wanted to provide a touch of warmth and comfort, to an exposed environment mostly empty.
OPENING OF SPACES
Both kitchen and bathroom are completely open spaces, forcing the selection of material and finishing palettes that work both inside and outside of these technically demanding areas and at the same time do not suppose an excessively aggressive transition
GAME OF MIRRORS
In the bathroom of the suite we wanted to play intentionally with the projection of the images reflected in the mirrors, with the purpose of transferring the fantastic views of Barcelona to the interior of the master suite.
