A TABLE OF ESSENTIAL DESIGN, EASY CONSTRUCTION AND MULTIPLICABLE
A round table, essential, symmetrical, easily buildable and multiply, without more ostentation than the design itself, conceived to be a useful tool for the human being.
The 60s were the golden age of industrial design for many reasons, the industrialized use of plywood and different types of plastic, allowed to soften, bend and mold the architecture and design of the time, generating wonderful results impossible until the date.
Still today, some of the pieces of that time, appear in the list of the most sold pieces year after year and his work, is a legacy of absolute validity at present.
The Carlo design table is our homage to the masters of that time, we are talking about the Eams, Saarinen and above all Carlo Molino, of whom we are especially fans.
Its hanging and light structures seemed to want to give architecture the ability to detach itself from the ground and take flight. Small curvilinear executive details evoke the world of aviation and the automotive industry. We are talking about propellers rotors and other components more associated with speed and aerodynamics than domestic furniture.
TABLE CALLING TO EARTH
The Carlo table resembles a flying saucer that has just deployed its light legs to subtly make contact with the earth.
