RECHSON PENTHOUSE
We executed this exclusive luxury interior design in madrid, a duplex located in the neighborhood of El Viso.
The house is located in the district of Chamartín, in the well-known neighbourhood of 'El Viso', and already had generous dimensions. At Molins Design we work on this type of luxury interior design project in Madrid. To do so, we thought about the wide range of possibilities that this splendid design penthouse offered us.
Reforms and interior design in Madrid are no easy task. The proposal we had in hand included two floors of the same property; a first level, where the service and daily use area is located. And a first floor, very luminous, unique and exclusive. There is a beautiful office area and a large terrace that occupies a large part of the roof. All of them, reforms that would turn the Rechson luxury house into the best penthouse in Madrid.
EXCLUSIVITY IN LUXURY INTERIOR DESIGN IN MADRID
.The uniqueness of the architecture and interior design in this penthouse in Madrid lies in the concept created to unite both floors. Penthouses with terraces in Madrid are a privilege, which is why it was so important to connect the ground floor of the penthouse with the upper floor. In this case, we created a multifunctional space with a swimming pool, garden and a chill out area next to a dining room and a barbecue.
In this outdoor area we integrated solar protection elements of different typologies. The aim was to make the terrace area suitable for daily use (both in extremely sunny and rainy conditions). Likewise, some of the terrace materials we used in this duplex penthouse in Madrid were: brisoleys, blinds or screens.
INTERIOR DECORATION IN A PENTHOUSE IN MADRID
.The first floor of this house, where the areas of daily use are located, was a canvas to be completed. Here, our interior decorators in Madrid poured all their creativity and knowledge into creating a totally unique and elegant luxury decoration. A magical corridor, completely opaque, gives way to the different rooms through the sophisticated handles that emulate bronze staffs.
In addition, the interior lighting design also took a relevant role in this reform and interior design in Madrid. The lights in this house combine and play perfectly with direct light. But also with indirect light, spots, LED strips and lamps of various kinds. All of this allows the house to be decorated at night and to show off its most theatrical and suggestive side.
A SUITE OF LUXURY AND DESIGN
.The suite of this penthouse in Madrid is one of the most sophisticated and well cared for spaces in the home. Its dressing room and bedroom share the same space, where attention to detail and neatness in the finishes have defined the script to follow.
Likewise, the en-suite bathroom is accessed through sliding doors lined with an aged mirror. Once inside, the total presence of white marble floods our senses and makes this bathroom a majestic place. In addition, this sanitaryware gets a differentiating element: a glossy lacquer finish cabinet, which functions as a container for utensils that require the daily use of its owners.
LUXURY PENTHOUSES WITH HIGH TECHNOLOGY
The home is also home automation and has a technological system that allows us to control all the rooms with a single click. Different applications allow us to access the temperature, the enclosures, the lighting and even the audio and video systems, among others.
Technology is also very present in the division between the kitchen and the living room. Thus, two large sliding doors allow us to screen the glass and increase the level of privacy between the two spaces.
THE STAIRWAY, THE JEWEL OF THE HOME
.The transition between two architectural planes is always a good place to propose original solutions. In this case, it was a key point to resolve in this project, and it has become one of the jewels of the house. Built in two sections, the first one acts as a shelf tribune fully integrated into the space, while the second one breaks with this concept by providing lightness and suspension, accompanied by a metal and wood handrail.
A UNIQUE AND EXCLUSIVE DECORATION FROM THE ENTRANCE
Originally, the entrance or foyer of the Rechson duplex was too exposed to the rest of the home. Therefore, our team of decorators decided to place a screen created by vertical pieces of wood. This element of interior decoration goes from the floor to the ceiling, separating but not completely hiding the entrance to the home. This element helped us to create and give a more than suggestive game to the house.
BAR FURNITURE, A SPECIAL DECORATIVE ELEMENT
In the dining room, it was decided to place a large piece of marble that covers and hides the room's bar unit. Likewise, its dimensions and the contrast with the dark wood create an atmosphere that invites leisure and enjoyment.
LUXURY INTERIOR DESIGN IN MADRID CENTRE WITH RETAIL FINISHES
The backlit shoe rack and the display cabinet with pull-out tray in the suite are the great exponents of the retail references in this home.
MADRID AS MEDITERRANEAN
Another very Mediterranean element is the connection of water with architecture as a decorative source and in the pool. We emphasize the continuity of materials between the pavement of the terrace and the interior of the pool, thus creating a uniform surface.
