Solbot House
Each and every corner of this home is designed to be enjoyed in company, whether with family or friends.
For this reason, and as a specific requirement by the owners, comfort and convenience are always present, as we can see in the living room of this home, designed as a semi-open space with dining room and kitchen.
The corner sofa, upholstered in purple fabric by James Malone, is an imposing piece and the true protagonist of the room.
The upholstered with Carlucci’s Bison fabric Chester armchair, a design by Molins, adds a touch of sophistication to the space, together with the coffee table, a stainless steel structure designed by our team.
Character and personality define the Solbot House in all its aspects. This fully renovated house in Barcelona stands out for its spectacular interior design and decoration. With just a glance, surprising is the special boldness in its chromatic range, as well as the particular distribution of its furniture.
This is a total renovation of a house of around 180 square metres. A house converted into a luxurious flat with a dream decoration and unique design pieces.
The main premise for this renovation, located next to Santa Amelia Park in Barcelona, was to focus on looking out for solutions that could maximise the entry of natural light indoors. In addition, we wanted to enhance the fantastic views of the park, from the living room or even from inside the kitchen.
Molins Design embarked on this total refurbishment with certain guidelines and defined objectives: aside from creating an ‘open space’ flat, with integrated living room and kitchen, we also thought of a new design for the bedrooms and bathrooms.

For the small terrace, located next to the living room, we decided to use the same shades as those used in the interior, in the textile accessories, in order to provide a chromatic continuity between both atmospheres.
All furniture in this functional and aesthetic kitchen was designed by our interior design studio in a gloss-black finish, a chromatic proposal that adds character and sophistication to the space.
The two-burner induction hob and the teppanyaki hob are Smeg models, as well as the under-counter freezer, the built-in fridge, the oven and the microwave oven. The extractor hood is a Pando design, and the mixer tap is a piece by Teka.

To create the children’s bedroom we opted for full use of space, so we designed and installed a custom-made bunk bed system, built in varnished oak veneer, which marks the way to a study area.
As for the chromatic range of this space, we can observe the clear use of wood and neutral tones in the furniture and wall coverings -checkered fabrics by Pierre Frey-, bright colours for the Drop chairs by Infiniti Design and anodised orange in the Tolomeo micro table lamps bases by Artemide.
