Rochi Penthouse

The living room is the space with the most architectural details. Among other renovations, we highlight the location of a spectacular designer fireplace in the centre of the room, which creates a warm and relaxed atmosphere in the living-dining room.
In terms of decoration, we highlight the use of unique pieces of furniture, many of which are considered relics, as well as the reflective elements in the form of mirrors, to give a touch of sophistication to the whole.
Design and decoration with art for penthouse in Sant Gregori (Girona)
The Rochi Penthouse is one of Molins Design’s most exclusive design and decoration projects with art.
Thanks to its characteristic worldwide journey through art,
this dream penthouse acquires different modern design furniture, as well as many other contemporary art paintings and an infinite number of decorative objects that demand to be observed in detail.
The attic is a large open space with a dining-living room and kitchen located practically on the same level. Its semicircular floor plan makes it peculiar in itself, but it is only the first architectural curiosity of the house.
The second part of the flat has a privileged suite connected to a spacious garden terrace, where its arrangement and carefully chosen plants embrace the space where you can breathe fresh air peacefully.

In the adjoining and open area to the main living room we find the reading area and the fireplace, a space that invites you to read and rest next to an essential piece in the interior design project of this home: the spectacular designer fireplace.
The fireplace as a backbone
We designed this spectacular fireplace to be one of the main elements in the design of the space.
The back of the structure that houses the television and the fireplace is mirrored, a choice that allows us to enjoy greater visual amplitude and luminosity in the space.
On either side of this essential piece, we custom-designed some shelves, also with a mirrored backlit background, to store books and decorative objects of great artistic value.

The dining area is located next to the living room and the kitchen and is overlooked by a wonderful painting from the homeowner’s art collection and a round dining table from the Italian firm Bonaldo, with a black base and an anthracite grey oak table top.
We chose comfortable chairs with upholstered armrests to place around the Bross table to create a more comfortable and welcoming space.
The mirror on the back wall frames the painting, creating an original and surprising display and decorative effect.
Laundry and ironing area
To complete the kitchen, we created an independent washing and ironing area hidden behind sliding doors with black profiles.
In this room we added an ironing cabinet with wheels, drawers and shelves to keep the laundry always in the best conditions.

The entrance hall to this duplex penthouse is a majestic and sophisticated space in which works of art, antiques and design coexist in perfect harmony.
The large-format painting that presides over the space is integrated into a wall formed by large mirrors that frame it with style and personality.
Lift entrance interior design and decoration
As soon as we step out of the lift, we can already sense that this duplex penthouse will not be an ordinary home.
We also intervened in this unique entrance with the installation of a Nobilis wallpaper, a large-format gold mirror designed and custom made by our team and the installation of a carpet in grey tones, which add character and style to the space.

The suite has its own access to a terrace that allows you to enjoy the fantastic views that surround this duplex penthouse.
A spacious and comfortable outdoor day bed in grey tones, both for the structure and for the seat and back cushions, from the firm Kettal, invites you to rest or have breakfast in total privacy.
In any corner of this home we can appreciate this client’s love for works of art; the placement of these iconic and charismatic pieces make this beautiful penthouse a very unique proposal. All its beauty and sophistication is perfectly combined with the comfort of the different areas of the house.
In this way, the Rochi Penthouse has numerous spaces in which to rest, have a good chat or read comfortably. On the other hand, the lighting plays a very important role, enhancing corners and objects that must be seen.

White on white for the bathroom
For the guest room’s bathroom we designed a custom-made vanity unit, a piece equipped with 3 drawers and an interior tray in one of them and 1 container drawer with shelf in melamine finish on the inside and white lacquered on the outside.
