Maya Duplex
Certainly, one of the main objectives of this new interior design project is to make the most of space and interior decoration. To achieve this, in this design penthouse with multifunctional living room in Madrid we worked on an interior design based on the open space concept. Made with rooms open to the space and decorated with furniture in keeping with the style of the owners.
Of course, also characteristic of this penthouse is the play of double spaces. Without ever being divided, as we can see in this living-dining room design.
The redistribution of the living room was one of the key points of our intervention. We took advantage of the unused space behind the sofa to design a complete full-height bookcase, equipped with a moveable staircase that breaks up the uniformity of the space.
The large grey Güell Lamadrid-upholstered sofa is the Saint Germain model designed by our team, as well as the elegant coffee table and the wheeled pouffs.
This is a magnificent and beautiful designer penthouse in Madrid, located in the Arturo Soria area. The home, converted into a real luxury duplex, consists of several rooms, nourished by high and daring chromatic contrasts. Reds, greys and whites become the main colors of this interior design project.
This is a generous-height dwelling with a clear outdoor orientation. Formed by two floors, this penthouse with terrace has very good natural light and spacious outdoor areas.
On the main level we find a more sober, elegant and noble interior design and decoration, while on the second floor there is a more familiar and informal daily atmosphere.
This proposal was a challenge for Molins Design as far as interior design is concerned. A large multifunctional dining room dominates the main floor, which is completed with a new design for the kitchen and family gathering area.
We also thought about how to make the most of the penthouse terrace, locating a garden and a more chill out area to enjoy with friends. Finally, in the bedrooms, we tried to maximize the space and include in each of them a dressing room and bathroom.

The dining table of this design penthouse with multifunctional living room in Madrid is spectacular. In this case, the top is made of varnished oak veneer and fixed to a painted iron metal structure, it is an exclusive design by our team of professionals.
When we reached the office area, we designed an eye-catching china cabinet that serves as a transition element, using red shelves that allow a natural movement between service and table area.
For the office we chose a First model table with white varnished table top and polypropylene legs from Magis, dining chairs from Habitat and the Facon Ciment model suspended lamps by Forestier.
To design the master bedroom, which has a bathroom area and integrated dressing room, we continue with the implementation of the same chromatic range, in whites, grays and reds. This choice is not casual, as it refers to the engine world, an owner’s true passion.
We custom-made a large headboard, upholstered with Güell Lamadrid fabric. A set of lacquered in red bedside tables and a footstool, upholstered by our team with fabric from the same firm.
As for the textile accessories, we highlight the reversible bed blanket, made with Fernando Salinero fabric on one side and Harlequin on the other, the cushions in Andrew Martin fabric and the sheers, custom-made by Molins Design, with fabric from James Malone.
The suspended lamps are the black Cosmos model by Vibia.
The bedroom-integrated bathroom is one of this penthouse with multifunctional living room in Madrid most spectacular spaces.
For its design we made a custom-designed isle-type vanity unit with lacquered drawers, a top with solid marengo Silestone basins and Ritmonio mixer taps.
Along with this sophisticated piece we added a large Hidrobox whirlpool bathtub, also with a Ritmonio faucet.
For the vanity area we incorporated a stool, designed and upholstered by Molins Design in red, gray and ecru toned fabrics. It provides chromatic continuity with the rest of the rooms of this great home design in Madrid.

For the living area located on the upper floor, next to the terrace, we designed a set of custom furniture. There are shelves and a module with folding tops in varnished oak and a two-door lower module behind the sofa with white lacquered baskets and module for refrigerator.
The corner sofa is a Molins design, using Les Créations de la Maison fabric, with decorative cushions upholstered with mixed fabrics from the same firm and Güell Lamadrid.
The round puff and the rug are by Papiol and the screens by Mottura.
