Nilos House
In the interior decoration for the Nilos single-family house, the choice of neutral tones predominates.
For the floor we thought of a natural wood flooring, which would bring elegance, serenity and timelessness to the whole.
Similarly, for the whims of the living room we used lacquered wood with upholstered panels in stitched leather finish as a detail of exclusivity and character.
All the furniture is perfectly combined with a fun upholstery of two of its armchairs, historically within the family.
In the living room we custom made a spectacular bookcase in varnished oak veneer, as well as the coffee table.
Interior decoration for single-family house design in Barcelona
Today we highlight a project in which comfort and decoration come together perfectly to create open spaces, with a great use of natural light and a decoration with taste and style.
We are talking about the Nilos house, a complete renovation project and interior decoration for a single-family house design in Barcelona.
Located in the heart of Barcelona’s Tres Torres neighborhood, the renovation reflects serenity and comfort in all its rooms.
The team of architects and decorators of Molins Design worked in the unification of spaces, as well as in the complete decoration of the house.

The dining area, elegant and functional, has an extendable table in varnished oak veneer and a matching suspended shelf, custom-designed by our studio.
The chairs with arms were reupholstered by Molins Design with fabric from Les Créations de la Maison, and the rug is a piece with a black border, custom-made by the firm Papiol.
For the resting area we designed an original stitched headboard, upholstered with Dolz fabric and bedside tables designed and made by Molins Design in glossy lacquer finish, circular recessed handle and 2 drawers.
The decorative cushions are made with Andrew Martin fabric and the lamps for the bedside tables, in satin lacquer finish, are an exclusive creation of our product design team.

"Thanks to the mirror, we were able to multiply the light feeling and space’s amplitude.”
The original bathroom integrated into the bedroom, which is accessed through sliding glass doors, is an exercise in functionality and impeccable aesthetics, for which we designed a vanity unit with three drawers and two doors and a large wall mirror that allows us to intensify the feeling of spaciousness and brightness in the space.
