Guida Apartment
In the day area we proposed an open space, so that living room, kitchen and dining room were unified to achieve a larger open plan space, although with their areas properly differentiated.
Due to this new aperture, we opted for the use of noble and elegant materials in the kitchen design, managing to implement an aesthetic harmony with respect to the living area.
To design the living room we custom made corner sofa, upholstered in Gastón & Daniela fabric, added an Andreu World footrest upholstered with fabric from the same brand and a set of coffee tables custom-designed by our team with painted iron feet and aged ivory marble tops.
The spectacular bookcase that integrates television and desk is an exclusive design by Molins Design in varnished oak wood with lacquered fronts and profiles.
In this interior design project we completely renovated this 175m2 house in Barcelona, distributed over three levels. Located in the upper city, it has privileged views that we integrated into the renovation as an important part of the intervention’s script.
One of this interior design’s main objectives was to create wide and luminous spaces. The house’s original layout had potential, but the amount of dividing walls was excessive, which limited natural light entry into the different rooms.
In the initial proposal for this interior design project in Barcelona we had certain premises and requirements set by the property. Among different objectives, we had to achieve a new structure that would adapt to the tenant’s typology and new habits.
This is a home for a childless adult couple who generally enjoys short stays in the city, a factor that conditions the approach to the architecture of this modern home, in which the communal rooms tend to become open spaces.
On the intermediate level, the prelude to the large living room next to the kitchen, we find this wonderful reading corner, designed as an independent room, although perfectly integrated into the whole, comprising Brandy armchairs by Andreu World, a side table, custom-designed by Molins Design and a Volta floor lamp by Estiluz, together with a bookcase and desk structure, made by our team, as an element of continuity with the library in the living area.

To create the fabulous entrance hall with a view we designed a three-door wardrobe with melamine interior and varnished oak exterior and a matching front shelf, adding an Osborne & Little fabric upholstered pouff, a Mottura roller blind and a Guaxs table lamp.
The entire kitchen and dining room furniture is an exclusive design by Molins Design in the same lacquered tone as the bookcase and desk in the living area, so that we manage to reflect a global decorative intentionality in the whole surface.

The oak tricapa parquet, with a brushed slat, micro beveled, dyed and matt varnished, brings elegance and contemporaneity to the entire living area and to the rest of the rooms renovated by our team of interior designers.
In the main suite we also decided to reproduce the exercise of eliminating partitions to integrate the different environments in a single room, more spacious and bright.
This bedroom, which has a spectacular island of varnished oak with drawers as a fundamental piece of storage and a lacquered wardrobe, made to measure by Molins Design, is one of the jewels of the house, thanks also to the spectacular views that practically form part of the decoration of this and the rest of the living spaces.
The custom-made headboard in three pieces upholstered with Güell Lamadrid fabric, the oak bedside tables, the suspended lamps and the wall sconces of Marset, round off a finished space with the best fabrics of Dedar and Loro Piana to dress the bed.
