One of the main interventions of this decorative project was the total remodelling of the living room with painting and the dining room that share the same surface.
To round off the proposal, it is also worth mentioning the palette of materials chosen. We highlight the use of soft and calm tones, with the presence of oak wood stained with smoked and taquered shades. Likewise, the lacquered wood panelling blends in perfectly with the light stone tone of the walls.
House renovation project for a house with a living room with painting in Barcelona
Forn Apartment is defined as an integral reform project for a home that has a large living room with a painting. Located in a large property in the upper area of Barcelona, the home takes a new direction and provides spacious, open-plan and much more elegant spaces.
All this, thanks to a new redistribution, designed and adapted 100% to the needs of its two tenants.
In the decoration of the house we incorporate essential elements of comfort, capable of creating a home with all the necessary features.
If there is something key in high standing homes in Barcelona, it is their interior design, as well as the decorative objects and materials that make up their furnishings.
The main part of the house is a living room with a picture frame around which the rest of the layout is articulated. In the living area there are two comfortable sofas and two reupholstered armchairs as seating elements. The side tables, custom-designed by our team, are made of iron handrail, with curved edges and oven-fire painted in satin black, with a wooden top.
The coffee tables, which match the side tables, are also designed by our studio. This living room bookcase that integrates the television is a creation of Molins Design and is made of oak veneer. For the whole house, except for the kitchen area, we chose a three-layer floating parquet in select oak.
The space, spacious and very bright, has an elegant dining room, where the Victoria sculptural table, designed by our team of interior designers, stands out, with oven-lacquered iron base in satin black and natural basalt top. A proposal that adds naturalness and timelessness to the space.
Decorating the living room with paintings is appropriate when there is space to display the works. In this case, the piece has works of considerable dimensions that can be appreciated in an ideal way.
To create a more intimate space, we designed a subtle separation from the dining room and the library area by installing vertical slats of American oak veneer made by Molins Design.

This project underwent major distributive modifications, especially in the living-dining room space.
Thus, a library or reading area has been added to this luxury home in Barcelona, where there used to be a guest room. This small gesture has also made the whole proposal gain in spatial perception and increased the entry of natural light into the living room with picture.
A very personal and elegant hall
Straight away from the hall, the decorative style that will govern the whole apartment can easily be sensed.
The two-drawer american oak veneer console is a design of our own, sustaining decorative accessories which are perfectly enlightened by black and white Cosmos, by Vibia, suspended luminaires, resembling two simple but beautiful sculptural pieces.

The generously sized space is dominated by a central island that houses the water area. All the kitchen furniture, made with custom-made modules in anthracite or white, was made by our studio.
The combination of materials, the chosen colours and the creation of different atmospheres make this kitchen a luxurious space of great aesthetic and functional value.
Versatile units with great storage capacity
Every element that shapes this kitchen was thought for them to offer major comfort and capacity, always keeping a perfectly organised space.
The backlit tableware cupboard, with drawers, shelves and a glass cover, allows kitchenware to be stored tidily, as if it were an exhibition.
In the central isle we find the dishwasher, freezer and wine fridge, ideal to enjoy the best grape beverages at an optimal temperature, are integrated in the set.

Stylish bathrooms
This luxury home in Barcelona has two bathrooms, the first, which serves the day area and in which the use of chosen colours, black and white.
The second, en-suite bathroom, next to the master bedroom, in grey tones for both the wall and floor coverings and for the furniture, custom-designed by our team.

In Forn Apartment a variety of ceiling suspended luminaires are presented, from the hall to the dining room, where these last ones remind us of a fine birdcage.
In fact, these elements become, with no doubt at all, the decorative pieces that bring personality and charisma to our proposal.
