Laye Loft
To increase the available space, the decoration of the kitchen and the living and dining area was unified with a beautiful wooden breakfast bar.
The lounge area is complemented by an L-shaped sofa, upholstered with Osborne & Little fabric, and an L-shaped wooden table, custom designed by our studio, to which we added a comfortable pouf fitted to the table, upholstered with Lizzo fabric.
On the side table next to the sofa, a piece designed by Molins Design, we placed a table lamp by Guaxs.
Small loft decoration: we renovate the interior design of this urban escape in the Gothic Quarter
Our interior design studio Molins Design led the reform and loft decoration of the Laye apartment. This apartment, located in an old building completely remodeled in the famous Via Layetana, becomes one of the most spectacular modern and small loft designs in the area.
Its owner, a foreign executive who frequents Barcelona, commissioned us to carry out a complete renovation of the apartment.
For this reason, the project consisted of furnishing and complementing the living room, dining room, kitchen and suite with all the necessary amenities.
There are plenty of loft designs, however in this particular project we had the handicap of space. Laye is an apartment of few square meters, so making the most of every corner became our main objective.
The suite has a very intimate and discreet lighting, as we focused on reinforcing the entry of natural light through the window. For this, we opted for ocher curtains with net curtains, which allow the light to pass through.
For the furniture, in this case, we opted for symmetry and not to overload the environment with unnecessary decorations, installing an upholstered headboard type wainscot and a set of bedside tables custom designed by Molins Design, with lower shelf and drawer in stone-colored lacquered DM, and two suspended lamps by Estiluz.
Its only enclosed space is elegant and sober. We played with just three shades and a certain careful symmetry on both sides of the bed.
