Casa Decor 2010
After crossing the entrance threshold to the Molins Design space, the visitor experiences a peculiar “blind date” with the films of the James Bond saga.
The space or design loft teleports you to a universe inspired by one of the great classic films of the 60s. Movies that pay tribute to intriguing characters and spaces.
This source of inspiration gave the team “license to create” a loft-style decoration that is both innovative and groundbreaking.
The 56-square-meter living room, dining room and kitchen blend comfortably into a single room. For its decoration, noble materials were used, together with the curvilinear shapes used in the design of the furniture. All this, together with a chromatic range based on tan, beige, camel and pure white colors.
Interior design project Casa Decor 2010
Molins Design participates in the launch of the new interior design event Casa Decor Barcelona 2010. Once again this year, we are talking about an essential event for interior design and space decoration lovers. A unique opportunity that brings together experts and specialists in the sector at national level.
The building that Casa Decor has occupied for this new edition is a large building formerly used as a ONCE school. Located in the heart of the Pedralbes district, the property covers almost 8,000 square meters. An ideal space to hold this celebrated interior design exhibition in Barcelona.
Like in Madrid, this event has different thematic areas as far as interior design and decoration are concerned. The tour proposed by the organization is done as a “blind date”, and has all the details. From the most modern and futuristic decoration to the most contemporary classic designs.
Throughout the tour there is a mandatory stop at the loft apartment designed by Molins Design. A new decoration project located in space number 15, located on the left side of the building’s entrance.
Ode to the 60's
The curvilinear shapes so characteristic of the 1960s became the common factor in the design of living and dining room furniture.
Thus, sofas, chairs, tables and armchairs flow in perfect consonance with the swarm-like form. In addition, sliding screens were created, which served to bring more privacy and seclusion to the space.
