Quer Penthouse
For this complete refurbishment in Quer Penthouse we had to take into consideration a large terrace, with a part located on the north side and the other on the south side.
For the transformation of the terrace facing the mountain we created an outdoor kitchen with terrace and bar. Undoubtedly, a proposal adapted to all kinds of needs and experiences, dividing it in a more public and a more private part.
The terrace has all kinds of luxurious details: stools for the bar area, terrace tables and chairs to celebrate a thousand and one family meals.
In addition, its cover allows to extend the seasons, protecting the users of this space of the climatic adversities.
The inverted U-shaped bar designed by our team in black granite Zimbabwe has original orange stools by Miura and, in the background, various models of planters of different heights and formats by Herstera Garden.
Complete renovation of a penthouse in Barcelona's Eixample district
This total renovation in a Barcelona’s Eixample attic becomes one of the most demanding proposals made by our interior design studio.
Quer Penthouse is distinguished for being a duplex with a lot of character and personality. Its interior architecture takes care to the smallest detail the contrasts between classic and modern, bringing sophistication and elegance to each space.
This penthouse to renovate has different basic objectives of interior design and decoration. In fact, together with its owners we agreed to create an open space penthouse, creating a living room with fireplace and a spectacular library area.
We also respected the original moldings and the double height ceilings on both floors of the house that add a unique character to the space, and that we wanted to preserve, to revalue the essence of the property.
In this spectacular space stands out the white cladding chosen for the kitchen wall, made with irregular stone pieces, in contrast with the furniture and flooring installed, both in this environment and in the other terrace, in large format pieces in gray.
In both spaces we installed a net covering on the side walls, with a double-sided open die-cut, in fireproof fabric in brown desert color supplied by La Velería. The awnings are custom-made by Langeland Umbra.
Once inside the penthouse we find the library, a space that has a remarkable prominence in this house, which integrates a table area and a reading area, with a large chester sofa upholstered in gray fabric and an original property’s armchair reupholstered by our studio in velvet fabric, in which it seems that time stands still while enjoying the pleasure of a good book.
The round coffee table is a design by Molins Design, the floor lamp is by Faro and the rug is custom made by KP.
On the opposite side, we discover a large table with a set of Armani chairs with steel arms and legs designed and upholstered by Molins Design in Owen Güell Lamadrid fabric.

The kitchen, which highlights the details in navy blue, consists of different furniture in light tones and a great use of natural light.
In this room we wanted to recreate the typical family gathering area; a comfortable and convenient space, full of light and color.
On the peninsula we installed a suspended lamp model Maranga 50 by Marset, and next to it a set of white stools by La Palma.

The elegant master suite of the house breathes warmth and comfort on all four sides. All this, thanks to its richness of textures used in its upholstered walls, carpet flooring, lined curtains, bedspread and custom cushions.
For the master bedroom, located in one of the corners of this attic, we designed a headboard upholstered by our team with Güell Lamadrid fabric.
The bedside tables with two drawers in matt lacquered finish with a handle formation are our own design, on which we added two suspended lamps by Tom Dixon and some reading lamps in white by Carpyen.
The spacious owners’ daughter’s bedroom has a bed, a study area designed by our team, a piano and an original ballet set consisting of a mirror and a varnished beech wood bar, also designed by Molins Design.
On the other hand, to create the son’s bedroom we designed a complete work area and shelves, matching the bed structure bed and to delimit the walls we installed a wainscot upholstered with fabric from Les Créations de la Maison.
