Doga House
This entire home has a pronounced feminine flair due to the textures, colours and patterns used, among which the carmine tones and country-style prints stand out. Thanks to these elements, we can create a rustic mountain house with a neo-chic style that makes this home a special one with a lot of personality.
For the furniture we opted for solid wood furniture, in aged oak, a material that gives a rustic feel to this mountain home. Some of these pieces of furniture add a touch of extravagance to the whole, combining perfectly with the home’s atmosphere.
The living room furniture, designed by our team, stands out among all of them, consisting of shelves and a bookcase with aged oak slats and backlit niches.
Sofas are custom-made by Molins Design, with Gastón & Daniela upholstery, and the Avis leather armchairs play a fundamental role in the design of this space.
Molins Design is a studio with passion for mountain houses’ aesthetics and today we present a cosy proposal located in Cerdanya, near the Catalan Pyrenees’ ski resorts.
More than a complete renovation, this interior design project consisted of a decorative re-styling intervention. Working in harmony with the owners, we managed to capture the desired feeling for this beautiful home located in Catalan “La Cerdanya”.
Divided into two levels, the house enjoys breathtaking views of the mountains and the Pyrenees.
In fact, the house looks like a mountain refuge, lacking no comfort at all. On the contrary, this renovated mountain house had a dream space, which results in a very cosy and comfortable whole.
On the other side of the living area we decided to incorporate an office area, using an elongated oversized shelf in the form of a desk, with indirect lighting points and chairs, as a solution that meets the specific needs of the owners and integrates perfectly into the living area.
In this kitchen, contrasting shades and finishes, such as the used black for the base units and natural oak wood for the wall units stand out, achieving a groundbreaking design in which rusticity and contemporaneity coexist in the same space.
In addition, a classic red Smeg fridge adds a striking chromatic detail to a fundamental space.
