Roman House
The architectural and interior design proposal for Roman House was born as a single-family house project, which is located in one of the municipalities annexed to the city of Barcelona, in Sant Just Desvern.
This proposal of single-family architecture has become an exclusive enclave of urbanism more fluid and with a more American-style of living in a house with a garden.
The tenants of this luxury home were looking for a quiet and less noisy place to locate their home. Located on a steep slope facing west, one of the first tasks to be carried out by our team was the realization of a correct topographic adaptation. To achieve this we needed to build some shielding based on concrete walls of considerable importance. The house occupies about 200 meters per floor and all this hindered the final development of the script pre-established by our team of architects.
This time we present a isolated single-family house project, located in an area on the outskirts of the big city of Barcelona.
Roman House becomes one of our most relevant proposals as far as the design of single-family houses is concerned. A project in which we work the architecture, interior design and exterior areas of a new work, created totally in accordance with the client’s needs.
With one floor distributed on two levels, this house has all the services and amenities that can be asked of an independent and familiar home. The whole house is adapted to the needs and habits of a family of three. Both the interior rooms of the home, as well as the pool area with garden have different atmospheres. In fact, our goal in the interior design of this magnificent home was to take advantage of every space and adapt it to the comfort of its owners.
The garden connects directly from the first floor and allows a total circumvallation of the complex. But it is at the front where it offers its best panoramic views of the city.
Here, the borderless pool or infinity pool plays its most prominent role, generating a continuous sheet of eight meters, a situation that liberates the conventional visual barriers, such as railings, and generates a sense of continuity that is fundamental in the resolution of this visual axis.

This generously sized house, designed for a family of three, is distributed in properly divided rooms. It also has an independent area for possible guests.
Its common spaces on the first floor stand out, where living room, dining room and kitchen form a single living area.
This single-family isolated house project has a clear orientation to the exterior, to which two large areas for work offices and a gymnasium are also visually connected.
The proposal is completed with a large garage, that connects the road traffic with the exterior through a paved courtyard. This option is very useful for maneuvering the different vehicles.

The house has a large dining room with integrated office, which leads to a gym area. In turn, the outdoor spaces become the star of the house, with different useful areas to enjoy an infinity pool and a chill out area of the most careful.
Both the interior and exterior lighting of the house is designed to provide maximum warmth and comfort to the owners. Therefore, every entrance of natural light was used to the maximum and different spotlights and designer lamps were combined to reinforce the night lighting.

On the upper floor we find the master bedroom suite, which has a large dressing room and bathroom with bathtub integrated, a single bedroom, also with dressing room and private bathroom and a multipurpose room.
From this floor we can enjoy spectacular views of the garden, the pool and the natural environment that surrounds this fabulous home.
