Torrent House
This wonderful single-family home’s exterior garden, located in the Baix Empordà region, offers numerous areas where one can enjoy its stunning surroundings, especially in its enlarged-shaped dominating pool.
Interior design in l’Empordà: a single-family rustic home refurbishment
Located near Girona, Torrent House turns out to be one of our most spectacular refurbishment proposals, in terms of interior design in the Empordà region.
In order to develop this new decoration and interior design project we seeked to emphasize the opening of the most enclosed spaces. In fact, if this pool house in Baix Empordà has something to show off is open space, as well as a clear rustic touch in every single room.
The first floor of this single-family home hosts the day area, linked to its exterior garden, while on the upper level we find a diaphanous suite in which bed and jacuzzi become one, creating an incredible resting area.
A custom-made pool
Our studio is also capable of designing precious pools, proven in this spectacular project.
In this case, the chosen interior coating in grey tiles ideally combines with the multicolour flooring porcelain assembled for the pool’s perimeter and chill out area.

One of the keymost premises we were asked to deliver in this interior design project was to open up the home’s rooms in order to take the maximum advantage of the available space.
With that in mind, Torrent House’s design includes a spectacular dining and living room, in dialogue with both the kitchen and the exterior area. This main space contains a marvellous piece of furniture which includes a chimeney, alongside a great sofa, suitable for extended relaxing time.
Decorative versatility
For a space to be well organised and tidy we use decorative functional resources, via sliding doors containing backlit shelves in ther inside.
This way, the path between areas is either visually more fluid and serene when these shelves are hidden, or more personal and decorative when the sliding door is open.

We position the dining room in a strategic location within the house, in one of the day zone’s main corners, where natural light is clearly present, in between living room and kitchen.
To create this space we design a big solid oak 4-legged square table with an iron interior structure, to which we add upholstered chairs on two of the sides and, on the other two, Carlucci-upholstered benches instead of traditional chairs.
This way we achieve a more comfortable and social space, given that square tables make it easier for diners to interact in an equal way.
Comfort and style in the dining room

Courtesy bathroom
For the main floor’s courtesy bathroom we design a varnished oak top, on top of which a white round stone stack is incorporated, alongside a Dornbracht wall-mounted faucet.
The mirros, manufactured in whitish branches, adds decorative detail to a functional and charming space.

In this home’s upper level we solely find this fabulous and complete suite, made up of a bedroom with an open bathroom, a wide walk-in closet and a private terrace from which to enjoy the wonderful views the environment offers.
The headborad element, with lateral niches built in varnished oak wood and designed by our team, acts as a separating piece between bed and bathroom, supporting a Systempool Norway hydromassage bathtub by Porcelanosa.
Right in front of it and below the window that brings light into the space we place the double washbasin cabinet, designed by Molins, on top of which two natural stone stacks with their respective mirrors, mounted either side of both washbasins.
